Scouted Design is the studio of interior designer Tricia Petersen.

Her work is shaped by a life of collecting — drawn from travel, a focus on natural materials, and time spent making in her studio. These influences carry through in the way she approaches a space: layered, tactile, and grounded in how it will actually be used and experienced.

Based on San Juan Island in the Pacific Northwest, with her home Skylands as both a creative anchor and inspiration, her work reflects the landscape, materials, and pace of life around her.

Each project is approached with care and clarity, resulting in spaces that feel personal, collected, and quietly beautiful.

01

Full-Service Interior Design

A complete design process from concept through installation. This includes space planning, materials and finishes, furnishings, sourcing, and final styling. Each project is developed as a whole, with attention to how everything works together and how the space will be lived in.

Projects typically span several months, depending on scope. Best suited for full homes or multiple rooms where a cohesive, layered result is the goal.

02

Design Consultation

A focused session to bring clarity and direction to your space. Whether you’re working through layout, materials, or how to move a room forward, this is a chance to talk it through and make decisions with confidence.

Sessions are typically 2–4 hours. You’ll leave with clear next steps and a more resolved direction.

03

Styling & Gatherings

An offering centered on how a space is lived in and experienced. This includes styling interiors as well as preparing a home for gatherings — dinner parties, seasonal moments, or time with friends and family.

This can be a one-time session or part of a larger project. The focus is on creating spaces that feel natural, welcoming, and thoughtfully composed without feeling overdone.

“The most compelling interiors are not overly designed — they are discovered. They reflect a life, not just a look.”
